In our view, cast aluminum offers the best value in outdoor furniture today. It is easy to move, yet heavy enough so that the wind doesn’t push it around. It doesn’t rust. You can buy it with weatherproof slings or cushions. Wrought iron is heavy and durable, but it will ultimately start to rust. Extruded aluminum furniture is rustproof, but it is very light and can be blown about by the wind. Wood, like teak or jarra, has a natural beauty, but will require the most maintenance to keep it looking good. But since all applications are different, just be thinking about these issues as you choose your furniture.
