One side is a locking door that swings open on brass-pin hinges to allow for loading wood or roasting marshmallows - you decide! The 1/4 INCH INCH INCH thick steel roof and chimney pipe guide much of the smoke up and away from your seating area. Although this fireplace comes with a small drainage hole in the floor to prevent rainwater from gathering, a cap can be added to the chimney for added protection and aesthetic."
